mm not well, she offered to show me how she can tie two knots on a cherry stem with her tongue and then i told her i can crush an egg with one hand. but that's pretty much friendship, right?
i will be upset if you only take her and not me though
I mean sometimes friendship can include a little more than cherry stems and crushed eggs, but I think you have the basics.
Oh boy lmfao, now I feel like I should just go by myself. Kidding somewhat. It'll be Albany, are you okay with that? I've already scoped out Ferrisburgh and Colchester, slim pickings.
Aw, I thought there was more to it than that. Teen dramas, for one.
"Nothing too crazy" is all she said. But I think a vintage ring is best, because that decreases a lot of the ethical problems with buying precious gemstones new, and I'm pretty sure she would care about that. And relatively low-profile, so it wouldn't bother her while she's working. [...] Honestly, I was kind of thinking of something in the vein of Galadriel's ring from the LOTR movies because I think she'd get a kick out of that, only toned down.
And here is where you can tell me that that's actually a very stupid idea.
i actually don't think that's a stupid idea at all, it doesn't sound like "nothing too crazy" though. nothing too crazy sounds more like a single set gem situation, but you know her better
vintage sounds nice, or maybe something custom if you can't find your dream elf ring?
"Dream elf ring" is just a guiding principle—I know I won't find anything especially like it if I'm restricting myself to old rings. It just narrows my universe of rings down.
What's also tricky is that Annie dresses well and seems is particular about her appearance. She's fashionable but not trendy? So there's the dream elf ring side of things but also the Annie would kill me if I got her something that looked like costume jewelry side of things.
